I am researching my family history and believe my great grandmother Bridget Kerns or Cairns may have been born in Westport around 1839<p>She was married to a John McCormack who was born in Ballaghadereeen around 1831.<p>I do not know whether they were married in Ireland or in England but in 1863 John and Bridget appear to have been living in Stockport where all their children were born and my grandfather and father grew up.<p>If anyone has any information at all which might help me locate my ancestors, it would be very much appreciated.
