Am searching for MCCORMICK/MCCORMACK'S in Roscommon who may be relatives of my line. My GGF was in Derreen, parish Taghboy, Cty. Galway on the Griffiths Valuation of 1850-55. Since this is located on the River Suck with Roscommon just across the river and LOTS of McCormick /McCormack's there in Roscommon, thought it worth a query. GFF Peter McCormack m. Mary Kean/Keane and had three sons that I know of:<br>Daniel b.c1849, imm. to Boston 1869, Peter J. b.1860 imm. to Boston 1880 and John b. May 1864. Don't know yet if he immigrated as he provided the BINGO having been born when civil registration was mandatory and he appears to be the 'baby' in this fam. Has anyone a family where a PETER MCCORMACK is a missing link?
