[Terrence Cullen]

Looking for information re: John (James) Cullen, b. 1856 in Ardmoneen, Co. Leitrim; son of Anthony Cullen, b. 1831 in Ardmoneen and Mary Keaney, b. 1827. Anthony may have been the son of Thomas, who had 3 brothers (Charles, Seamus, and Garret). I am told these 4 brothers were evicted from Ardmoneen and traveled to Meenkeeragh (in approx. 1820 ?). Any information would be greatly appreciated.<p>

<br>Mr. Cullen,<p>Your information is most helpful! You are related to Frank White of Leitrim at fwhite@iol.ie. He is also descended from Anthony Cullen b. c1750. This Anthony had two sons that I know of, Seamus (James) from whom I am descended and Charles. I am assuming Garret and Thomas were their other brothers. Frank White is descended from Charles. We have an Owen in recent generations. The Seamus line is called the Charlie Mickey Charlies any ideas as to why? Our family was referred to as foreigners as somewhere along the line they had come from somewhere other than Leitrim. Frank thought it was from the North, Glenfarne(?). Your information fits.
