My gggrandparents were Margaret MAXWELL(b about 1830)and John NEARY (b about 1823?). Margaret's parents were Brigid McCOY and Bernard MAXWELL, who were married in Kilmore, Roscommon 12 February 1829 according to church records. Baptism records in Kilmore show six other children: Timothy b 1834, John b 1835, Brigid b 1838, Ann b 1840, Helen b 1842, and Mary b 1840. I do not know anything of John Neary's parents or siblings. John and Margaret may have been married in Ireland; I have not found any records yet. They lived for a time near Manchester, England, where several children were born: James b 1857, John Henry b 1859(my ggrandfather), Timothy b 1861, and Bridget b 1862. The family came to the US in 1863-1864; they settled in Macedon, Ontario Co, NY where they had seven more children.<br>Any connections out there? Any information greatly appreciated! <br>Thanks.
