After one trip to Ireland in February of 1997 I realized how hard it is to find family. Did the Southern loop from Dublin to Shannon. Next trip is planned for 2000. Will try the Northern route this time.
Will try to visit County Antrim and Tyrone - the Village of Ballyronan. Even though most McTiernan names seem to be from the South, there is an old family tale that the last generation left Ireland from Ballyronan.
Hoping for any help.
Stay at the Standford Village Inn and ask the owners about the McTiernans.
