Here's hoping that someone will know the McGuerty name from Co. Leitrim. <br>I have just found the spelling as mentioned while searching in the Mormon Church records.<br>In 1846, James Mcguerty & Sara Rooney had a baby named Margaret Mcguerty. <br>Also in that year Laurence Rooney married Mary Maria McGuerty. <br>They lived in Clooneclare, Co. Leitrim. That is all the information I have until<br>my great grandfather John McGuerty left Ireland to come to Fairhaven Ct. <br>If anyone from the Rooney family can help me with the above request <br>I would be ever so grateful!I am anxious for information as I leave for Ireland on July 22.
