I am researching my grandfather's family from the townland of Cavan, parish of Innishmagrath. He was born Michael Guihan in 1886 (d. 1929 NYC, USA). His parents were Philip Guihan (~1830-1909) and Winifred (Una) Carrigan Guihan (1844-1923). His siblings were Mary McGovern (Massachusetts), John, Patrick, James (Massachusetts), and Catherine Carrigan. His grandfather may have been John Guihan (d. 1880).
