I just searched the archives and was overwhelmed by the numbe!<br>My Shanley data:<br>Patrick Shanley-immigrated to USA New York 1841<br>1842 . Mary Ellen Reynolds (also from Ire.)<br>Lived in Watertown,Wisconsin-Some children born there: John M. Mary Ellen, Dennis. May have lived in other states before<br>Family moved to Chickasaw County, Iowa ca 1875<br>More children were born there-8 in all.<br>Mary Ellen Reynolds Shanley d. 1905 Minneapolis, Minn<br>Mary Ellen Shanley m. Harris Wilson 1880 <br>She d. ca1935 Minneapolis.<br>I believe other Shanleys also immig. as a Bridget Shanley age 73 is shown on census records in Chickasaw Cty 1895-believe she was a sister in law to Patrick. Date of Patrick's death unknown.

Date of Patrick's death unknown.<p>I am researching a Patrick Shanley, my husband's great, great grandfather. In 1848 he lived near Montpelier, Vt. A son named John, my husband's great grandfather was born there on June 25, 1848. Patrick was born in Ireland. At some point John moved to Michigan.
