When researching my family geneology I came across a Daniel Fox (Aughnaha, Rossinver, Co. Leitrim) who married Anna Dolan (Kiltyclogher, Co. Leitrim) on 07/06/1886. I also discovered that three of their children were baptised in Ballaghameehan Parish. They were Brigid (05/02/1889), Margaret Jane (11/02/1891) and Catherine (15/02/1893). A family of the name Fox (no relation to me) still reside at the above address.

All my dads family plus my dad were baptized at Ballaghmeehan (St. Aidens) I was born a few miles from Manorhamilton and have relatives in Rossinver,Kilty- clogher. I have already purchased documents from these places and if you need copies, I can send them. I have the 1857 land record for Aughnaha, as my Gallagher family bordered this town land. We were from Dernahimrick or Derrynahimmirk and go back there before 1800.
