reynolds/johnston/leitrim to quebec 1849

I am researching the Reynolds family who emigrated to quebec in 1849. The father,Patrick,his wife and three sons were together.A son,Thomas,was born at sea.I am coming to Leitrim in 2006 and would appreciate assistance re accomodatin and research tips.
