McHugh family Mohill, Co.Leitrim

My grandmother Bridget McHugh born 14/01/1861 to Bernard McHugh b C1835 and Mary (nee Ryder) b C1835 had five siblings James b C1856, John b C1859,Thomas b C1863, Patrick b C1865, and Mary (Mollie) b C1867. All were born at Drumard Jones, Mohill , Co. Leitrim. Bridget married my grandfather Francis Francis in Mullingar , Co Westmeath in 1882.I would be interested in hearing from any decendants of her siblings. Many thanks. Ann

When I was a child, a Mick McHugh ran a small shop at Clooneagh Crossroads, in the townland of Clooneagh, RC parish Bornacoola, Civil Parish Mohill. I think his wife's name was Mary. The shop closed about 20 years ago, and Mick no longer lives there. Don't know if he's still alive, but if he is, he's a very fine age indeed. Hope this is of some use.

Looking at Drumard Jones 1901 Census no McHugh
But Michael Costelloe has a wife Mary age 32
She may have married the boy next store
Mary mother/widow is their as well
Chidren Thomas,Mary,Bridget,Ellen,Patrick,Kate
