O'Beirne - Hopkins, Roscommon mid 1800's

Just received a copy of GGrandfather, Patrick F. O'Beirne's (b. 1849, Roscommon) Illinois Death Certificate. States that his parents were Patrick O'Beirne and Mary Hopkins. Patrick and Mary also had a son, Charles and a daughter, Bridget. I'm strongly leaning toward a possible son named John but have not yet confirmed. Patrick and Charles both came to the US while Bridget stayed in Ireland and had a family. If anyone can see a connection to this union and family, please contact me at your earliest convenience.
