SHERIDAN Thomas + Bridgit CASSSIDY

I'm tring to find any information regarding a
Bernard Sheridan------------James Cassidy
Thomas Sheridan + Bridgit Cassidy married in 1838
in Salford England, Bridgit was born in Lietrim, and Thomas
died between 1853-1860 so is not appearing on any of available census reports. Hopefully someone can help point me in the right direction............does any one know about the Irish papers printing obituaries, if they survived ???
