Can anybody help me please with informatiom on the above family which was a junior branch of the Burkes, Knights of Glinsk, just over the border in East Galway.
The Keelogues branch was founded by William Burke whose father Richard was the 4th son of John Burke, the 4th Baronet of Glinsk (d 1721)
William Of Keelogues married Margaret Coleman & I suspect one of their grandsons may have been my g-g-grandfather Thomas Burke b c1775. One of his daughters and one of his grandsons intermarried with the Keoghs of Taughmaconnell.
Any information or suggestions where I might seek it, gratefully received. Thank you.
