My family's genealogical efforts recently identified my GGGGrandfather,<br>Robert Coogan, as born at Leitrim, Ireland in the 1798-1799 time frame.<br>His parents were James and Catherine Coogan.<br>Robert was a military "pensioner" in Niagara, Ontario, Canada at the<br>time of his death in 1865. He was married to Mary/May Casey on or<br>before 1831; currently, we do not know if they were married in <br>Canada or Ireland.<br>We would appreciate it if anyone could offer additional information or<br>research suggestions on the finding of these ancestors.<p>As a reference, I am also listing my father's genealogy website.<p>Thank you in advance.
