Using the Boston College database for the Advertisement in the Boston Pilot and the CD I have, I tried to find as many ways of spelling Kiltoghert as possible - My own great grandmother's headstone in 1854 called it Kiltaughart. This is what I have come up with so far for the time period up through 1855 - due to the lack of parish name for some townlands, I am sure I have missed some or mis-identified others:

Of PATRICK, WILLIAM, and ELLEN FARRELL, formerly of Carrickport, parish of Kilterbrett, co. Leitrim. Patrick and Ellen emigrated to America, in the spring of 1838, and when last heard from (in 1843) they were at Flat Rock, Niagara co. State of New York. William landed at Quebec the present year, and has not been heard from since his arrival. Of CECILIA MCGURTY, aged 14 years, and her sister, Margaret, aged 12 years, daughters of Thady McGurty, of Derrintiguero, near Drumshanbo, co. Leitrim. They arrived at Quebec, July, 1847, in the ship Lady Milton, from Liverpool. It is supposed they are in the care of some Catholic clergyman in Lower Canada. OF JOHN O'BRIEN, carpenter, son to Augustine O'Brien, carpenter, who died in Boyle, co. Roscommon, in January, 1842; where John last worked in Ireland was with his brother Michael, at the Carrick-on-shannon Union Workhouse, co. Leitrim; he left there in company with Terrence and Margaret Boland, for Sligo, from whence he sailed on the 11th May, 1842, in the ship Argo, bound for St. Johns, British Province. His brothers heard he was married and lived in Lowell, Ms. Should he or any person notice this, they would confer a favor on his brothers, by addressing a few lines to either of them.
