I hope this is the right place to send this post. Internet use is new to me. I am looking for information about my great grandparents. James Flynn(son of Myles and Catherine) married Mary kilkenny(daughter of owen and Anne) on April 22, 1878 in Chapel of Glenfarne, County Leitrim.
Any relatives out there? Where is Glenfarne?

Anne,
You are doing well with your internet use so far !

Glenfarne is in the Civil Parish of Cloonclare, near Lough MacNean right next to what is now Northern Ireland.
There are many resources on this site that will help you to learn about the genealogy search and your options.

Since you have the marriage information, do you have their ages at the time of marriage ? Did they have children in Ireland ? when did they leave Ireland ? Did you get the marriage information from the Leitrim Genealogy Center ? They have the record and it should tell you the townlands where they lived.

There are some folks listed in Griffith's Land Valuation Records of 1857 who may be their parents or other relatives, but you will need to narrow them down.
