Would anyone be able to shed any light on the following please?
I have found a GRO Marriage Register entry and cannot identify any of the parties.
When Married: 10 July 1899
Where: R.C. Chapel of Mohill
Groom: James O'Connor, Full age, Bachelor, Merchant, (residence) Mohill, (father) Bernard O'Connor (dead) Merchant.
Bride: Elizabeth Doyle, Full age, Spinster, (occupation) either dash or ", (residence) Mohill, (father) James Doyle (dead) Farmer.
Witnesses: Michael McGee and Winifred Doyle.
The problem is that I've got a large database of Doyles from MOhill and surrounding areas, and Elizabeth does not even remotely match any of them. The residence is far too vague, and even the witness, Winifred Doyle, does not provide any real clues. Worse still, I can't find any sign of the couple on the 1901 DB.
Any help appreciated.
