Looking for any connection to my Gt GT grandparents. Patrick Conboy and Maire? Staford/Stafford. I have no idea where they originated from in Ireland.
Their daughter, Bridget Conboy born c.1856, married my Gt Grandfather Michael C Brady in 1872 in the RC Chapel in Rathmines. Co. Dublin. Bridget's father, Patrick Conboy, was a coachman, Michael Brady was a gardener and one of the witnesses was an Ellen McDermott. Was Ellen a Conboy too?
Michael and Bridget lived most of their lives in Dublin city. Bridget was still alive in 1927 when her husband died.
I have found several of their children:
Catherine, Daniel, Martha Jane, Emily Florence and Josephine Florence. Any of these names feature in your Conboy ancestors families?
