My great-great-grandfather Owen Gaffney was born in County Leitrim about 1812. He and his family arrived in New York aboard the "Dromahair" on April 26, 1850 and settled in Rutland, Vermont. He was married to Mary McLaughlin of Altavra, Parish of Killarga, County Leitrim. I would appreciate any information on Gaffneys and/or McLaughlins from this area. Thanks!
