Kilteevan Tannery Business

Was there a tannery operating in Kilteevan district in early to mid 1800's? My Kelly ancestor worked as a tanner when he settled in N.Y. State 1864.
Kilteevan Civil parish adjoins Roscommon Civil parish. Both Civil parishes are in Roscommon Catholic Parish.
At the c1855 Griffith’s Valuation of County Roscommon, a Tannery was occupied by William Harrisson (sic) in Ardnanagh townland, Main Street, Roscommon Town, Roscommon Civil parish.
