ALMOST at the end of the road researching my family tree.....can anyone give me ANY info on Anne McAviney, born 27th April 1872 Carrick-on-Shannon. Father Patrick McAviney,mother Margaret Mcaviney nee Threlfall married 16 Feb 1869 St Mary`s RC Londonderry.<br>Anne married Edward Muldoon 31 October 1894 in Glasgow.<br>Or even point me in the right direction please, all info greatly appreciated, many thanks for your time<br>Jim Muldoon Bonnie Scotland

You can find McAviney and MacAviney, mostly in Monaghan; there are only 5 in the phonebook. Near Carrick it seems they are now McGivney and there are just 2. As for Threfal, as it's now listed, there are just 2 in the phonebook. So, the good news is that you don't have to call too many.
