I am researching John Finan b in Ireland. A 1870 Henderson Co, KY census said he was 52 which would make his birth year abt 1818. I believe he had a wife named Margaret(Ireland)who may have died in Warrick Co, IN probably before 1865. Children were b. PA, NJ or NY (this was a bit confusing on two different census) and IN. Since the first child was born what seems to be 1850 in PA, I am assuming he came to US about 1845. He married in IN after his first wife died in 1866 Vanderburgh Co, IN. Wife's name Catherine A Carroll b. 1852 in NYC, NY. Parents from Ireland: T. H. Carroll and Anna Murphy. John Finan died probably in Henderson Co, KY or Vanderburgh Co, IN after 1879 but before 1885. Catherine remarried to a John E Rapp in 1885. Don't have too much info on these people. Any help would be appreciated.<p>Regina<br>
