I am searching for my g.g.parents Michael Lee married to Mary Dockery born about 1830(?). Their sons Bernard, James, Michael & Patrick emigrated to Bridgeport Connecticut between 1880-1893.They had a cousin Dennis Mulvihill who became mayor of Bridgeport in 1905.

He died there in the 1890s. He was married to Mary Foley of Killegan in Kilglass Parish who died the same day; she may have been his second wife.
I suspect James had a brother in RI who was married to Rosie Green of Kilglass. His ad looking for her appears in The Search for Missing Friends.
My own ancestors were Rileys from Kilglass -- 7 Riley siblings emigrated to Rhode Island in Famine time and many later moved to eastern Connecticut. James Dockery's will calls some of them cousins.
Mary Lee Dunn

This family can be found on www.familysearch.org and the reference number given for Mary is AFN:1M57-9KV. If this is the same Mary you are looking for, then my gg grandfather and your ancestor were brother and sister. Of course there is always the possibility of other Mary Dockerys born around the same time. If I can help with any other queries, my e-mail is ddockery@icw.ie
I live in Ireland on the border of Co Roscommon.
Cheers,
Dave Dockery.
