I am looking for McPaden family connections. My great-grandfather, John, was born in Leitrim, parents Michael McPayden and Anne Farrell. He came to Vespra Twp. (north of Toronto) before 1861, with his brothers Michael and James, and sister Ellen. He married Ellen Gallagher (d. of Martin Gallagher and Mary Donahoe)of Sligo in Canada in 1862.<p>Around 1870, he went to the UK, to Newcastle/Sunderland, to work in the coal mines there. He returned to Canada in 1880, after the birth of his daughter, Mary Ann.<p>Are there any cousins out there?<p>Anne<br>
