Am trying to find relatives of a John McCormick-we think from Roscommon (town or county). Some research states he was son of Patrick McCormick and Bridget Henning.<br>John immigrated to US in 1863 and settled in Baltimore, Maryland where he eventually opened a floral shop. He married a Margaret Gannon (or Donahue) (We think her father was a Michael Donahue)She immigrated in 1873. John and Margaret married in Baltimore in 1871 or 1872. One of their daughters, Bernadine McCormick was my maternal grandmother. <br>A nephew of John's, John Kilganon (b. around 1863 in Ireland)was living with John's family in Baltimore in 1880 (according to a census taken then) so probably immigrated with John in 1863.<br>IF ANYONE HAS ANY INFO ON ANY ABOVE LISTED NAMES, PLEASE E-MAIL ME AT MY E-MAIL ADDRESS AS I'm not sure if i will be able to get back to this site--being a novice on computer!! I was in town of Roscommon in 1995 and copied their phone page of McCormicks but it only has phone numbers--not addresses so I can't send a letter out to folks.
