I am looking for information on my family, Somers, who were farmers in Tremane along with the Fitzgerald family. Emigrated to US in 1830's or 1840's. Anyone heard of Tremane?<br>Thank you in advance.

One of your Somers clan from Roscommon was part of the Irish team that climbed Everest north face a few years ago; see book "Everest Calling" by Laura Siggins.<br>
