My great-grandfather, Patrick Scally, came to Mpreton Bay, Brisbane, Australia on the Sabrina in December 1855. His age is given at 25 so he would have been born in early 1830's. His parents were Patrick Scally, Labourer, and Jane McDermott, of Kilbeggan, County Westmeath.<br>Is there anyone out there on the Net who may have Scally's comng from Kilbeggan about this time. I seem to have struck a brickwall in trying to find anything about my gg-grandparents, Patrick Scally, Senior, and Jane McDermott.
