I am looking for any connections to the surname Shafitz especially Leonard Shafitz who was born Leonard Schaffer onJune 18th 1919 in Newark New Jersey, Mother Fannie Faber and Father Leonard Schaffer they changed the name from Schaffer to Shafitz later. Please contact me with any reference to him i know he was a film director and was the first to use the clapper board to connect sound to film.
