Looking for information on Geelan family in county Leitrim. I haven't been able to gain name of family member who came over to US from Ireland, but am working on it. More recent family settled in Kansas, USA. Grandfather, Daniel A. Geelan, and grandmother, Mary Florence Farris, were born in Eurdora, Kansas. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.<br>My great grandfather was Patrick Geelan. He came to the U.S about 1894 <br>and settled in New Haven, CT. He entered the US from Canada <br>and changed his name to Gillen. He was originally from Leitrim.<br>This is far as I have got. Does this help?<br>
