Hello, my name is John Duignan. My father, Luke Duignan, left Dublin about 1925 and traveled to America. He sent to Dublin for my mother, Ellen Proudfoot, brought her to America and married her in New York. They raised a family in Scranton, PA. I know very little about my parents background but I am determined to find out as much as I can. If anyone can give me suggestions regarding this search I would be very grateful.
