I'm seeking any info on the Taaffe's that lived in Boyle around 1820 to 1850,<p>and did they come from Sligo or Mayo? my reative would be a John Taaffe married<p>to Catherine Keaveney with three sons Patrick 1827, Laurence 1833, and John 1825.<p><br>All christened in Boyle Parish.

They were noted "Horse people," the "horsey set," and continue in that business as you can now find in and near the Curragh racing are in Kildare.Several were jockey's, trainers, etc.
