Where was BALLARARELY, in 1884 ?

Post by Southpaw »

My family sailed from Ireland, in 1884. On an old photo
taken in Ireland, a relative wrote this name, as if it was her home in Ireland. I can find no listing of it.
Can someone tell me the meaning of this name ? Does anyone know where it is, or was ? thanks...

Was the name passed doen orally. If so, you might have the wrong spelling. Try similar sounding names like Ballyreagh, Ballyhooly, Ballynagleragh, Ballygirraha, etc.
Pete Hanley
