Searching for the existance of a Tully Village, Tuamna, Roscommon, The home of the WARD family. My GGrandmother, Catherine emmigrated here(Rhode Island, USA) to stay with relatives. Her 2 brothers had preceeded her here and were living in Montreal Canada where they were both Policemen. St Catherine Street in Montreal.<br> Catherine met and married Cornelius Healey here in RI ....they had 8 children; Jack (later became the Mayor of Central Falls, RI), James Patrick(later became a Doctor), Helen , Sister Mary Catherine, Catherine , Peter and Daniel. <br>If there is anyone with pertaining information of the family or town location please advise me! Look in the Townland data base for L-R counties. There is a civil parish named Tumna which has a townland named Tullyleague within its boundries. Go into the 1901 census and search for Ward entering the townland and parish. If no Ward there, search for list of Wards in Roscommon.
