McLaughlin Kiltrustan, Roscommon to Providence RI

I am looking for any information about a family who lived in Kiltrustan, not sure if that refers to the townland or the parish. <p>A MARTIN McLAUGHLIN and wife, MARGARET (--) were probably born about 1810-1820. <p>I believe at least four of their sons immigrated and lived in Rhode Island. <p>A gravestone in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Providence, RI is inscribed with the names of JAMES McLAUGHLIN (1845-1863) and MARTIN McLAUGHLIN (1854-1870), Natives of Kiltrusin, County Roscommon. The stone was erected by their brothers, JOHN McLAUGHLIN and MICHAEL McLAUGHLIN. <p>The brother John was married to MARGARET KANE, and he died in 1893 in Providence. <p>I don't know if this family is related to me, but the burial lot is the same lot where my gg grandfather, PATRICK McLAUGHLIN, (1780-1861) is buried. <p>Thanks for any help...! <p>

He immigrated bef 1850 to Rutland, Vt. He married Hanora (Ann)<br>Winters and dau Ann b 1853 married John Brennan 1873 and later moved to <br>Providence, RI.<br>Unfortunately, I have not been able to locate Patrick or Anns burial <br>info anywhere in the Rutland area. I plan to try to look in Providence<br>to see if they are buried with the Brennans. Patrick was naturalized<br>in Rutland and I know of no other reason they are not buried there.<br>The names are so common I have not been able to sort them all out and '<br>I don't know if Patrick had any siblings or not.<br>Good Luck in your research<br>Rosemary<br>

I looked through my file, and don't have anything on John Brennan-Ann McLaughlin. Sorry. I did find a Catherine Brennan married to Michael McLaughlin. And there were several siblings living in Providence who were the children of "Peter and Honora" McLaughlin. Unfortunately, not Patrick.
