I am searching for my grandfather John Connaughton, born 1n 1867, who came to the USA in 12/1894. He died in New York City in 1917.<br>He married Bridget Sweeney, born in 1870 in Cork, before coming to the USA. Bridget died in New York City in 1910.<br>They had at least two children, my mother, Mary Ellen Connaughton, born in New York City 2/7/1895 and my aunt Nellie, birth date/place unknown.<br>Family legend has it that grandfather John was born in Dubli, but I think that's probably just a generalization.<br>Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.<br>
