searing for any info....I have very little...my mother's grandfather came through Ellis Island somewhere in the late 1800's early 1900's from we think Roscommon. His name was Micheal J. Gilleran and once in the US he married Anna Cummins. I've check the Ellis Island site and that's not much to go on....anyone ????

Do you have a clue how old Michael Gilleran might have been. Gilleran is a long-back family name and I have some baptismal information for a Michael Gilleran born in Kilteevan Parish, Co. Roscommon on April 21, 1874. parents Ivannis Gilleran and Anna Fox.<br>
