Trying to establish where my Lowe, Harrington, & Mulvihill ancestors, that lived for the most part in Edenan & Kinclare, may have been laid to rest. I'm finding ot very difficult to come up with the names of cemeteries and yet it is not likely that these people were buried on land that they only rented.

Families sometimes took plots nearby, therefore Elphin, a mile away is a possibility. There may be a cemetery in Kilnamyrall near the "new" church. All are now in the Elphin parish. The County Council has the responsibility of maintenance of cemeteries but does a very poor job.

I am beginning to understand that with many being poor that there is perhaps a lack of headstones, and now that you commented on the maintenance being poor, I am beginning to understand that graveyards may be a poor source of info and thatphotographing headstones may be out of the question. I very much appreciate your leads as to the location of likely cemeteries though and will likely pursue this a little further.
