Loughglyn School

Post by Lois »
Looking for the location of Loughglyn school in County Roscommon in 1854. I have a book signed by the school director enrolling Julia Madden Quinn in "the Confraternity of the Most Precious Blood". Julia married Thomas Giblin also of Roscommon (his parents were Thomas Giblin and Catherine Costello) in 1870 in Virginia City, Nevada. Julia and Thomas are my great, great grandparents. I am trying to pinpoint the exact townland they came to the United States from.
Lois

I will leave that one to my children if they are ever so inclined. My husbands family were in Astabula Ohio but I don't know anything of where they came from originally.
