I do have a John Campbell in my family history from Leitrim, but that may be such a popular name. John Campbell was my great great grandfather. All that I know about him at this time is that he was from Leitrim and married Ann Donohue. Joseph Campbell, their son, my great grandfather, married Anne Gray. Anne and Joseph had 14 children. My <br>paternal grandmother was Catherine Campbell, born in 1879 near Hamilton in Scotland,<br>Her father was a John Campbell born in the 1850's in Leitrim? His wife <br>was Margaret Winn who I believe was Scottish. Family sources say that<br>this particular Campbell family were farmers who moved to Ireland from Argyle<br>in Scotland. If any of this rings a bell let me know and maybe I can find<br>out more as I still have Campbell relatives in Scotland who can maybe fill<br>in a few blanks.<p>Ed. Gaffney<br>: Bob Byron<p>
