Great, Great,Great Grandfather

I would like to know if there is any information regarding my great,great,great grandfather, William Kennedy born 1735 in County Mayo. Is there a hall of records in County Mayo? A parish church may occasionally have a record earlier than 1800, but that would be a rare exception. What about two generations after William?
