My great-grandfather, PATRICK JOSEPH NEARY, likely came to the states in 1894, from Co. Roscommon.He lived in Bridgeport, Connecticut from 1901 until his death in 1941. (I can't place him from 1894-1901).He had a brother EUGENE, who may have remained in Callow, and 2 brothers CHARLES and NICHOLAS who also lived in the Bridgeport, CT area in at least the early 1900's. There may be other siblings, WILLIAM, JOHN, and CATHERINE, although these last 3 may be cousins or unrelated NEARYs who also lived in Bridgeport. <p>He married MARGARET GILBANE in 1903; they had 6 surviving children-Mary Louise, William, Genevive, Thomas, Winifred (AKA Irene-my grandmother), Eugene. <p>Does any of this seem familiar to anyone out there?<br>Colleen conlan@midcoast.com<br>
