Believe they are connected to our Flood/McCann line.

His father Michael Monahan was married to Catherine Kilkenny. They owned an 11 acre farm near Aughavas. After their children (including my grandfather) immigrated to the United States they fell on hard times and the farm was later sold to a John Reynolds who was reportedly related to Catherine Kilkenny. I am told that this original farm is still owned by descendants of the Reynolds family.
