My paternal Grandmother was Maire [Mary] McGowan, she came from Tawnytallan, her mother was Kate Rogers/Rodgers and she was married to Patrick McGowan.<p>Apart from my Grandmother, they also had another daughter called Maggie who married a ?? McMorrow and their son Bernard still lives in Augharrow Tullaghan.<p>There was 3 brothers, none of which married, John moved to Manorhamilton and James and Patrick lived and died in Tawnytallan.<p>I think that Patrick McGowan {My Gt Grandfather} had three sisters and one brother called John, but I do not know much about the sisters except that they married into Feely? Cleary? and one maried a McCormack.<p>I do not know much about Kate Rogers {my Gt Grandmother} apart from the fact that she came from Tawly on the Sligo border.<p>Any help would be appreciated.<p>Kind Regards<br>Marie Porter <p>
