My grandfather's sister - Teresa (Kilcrann), was married to Michael Monaghan of Satrissaun, Gorgagh (near Mohill, Co. Leitrim). Today their grandson - Gerard and his family live on the same farm - they are the only Monaghan family living there and so are probably the family you are looking for. When I visit Ireland (I live in Rome) I usually meet different members of the family. Gerard has three sisters and one brother living in different places throughout Ireland. I suspect that he may not have an e-mail connection but searching the Irish white pages on the WWW you should easily find his phone number (look for Gerard Monaghan, Satrissaun or perhaps Gorvagh).<p>Good luck with your search,<br>John Kilcrann<p>

Dear John, I logged in the other night the name Kilcrann for the fun of it and what did I hit only the previous pages !!!<p>I too am Kilcrann from a shannonside village in Roscommon called Rooskey, where i understand all my kilcrann relations originated, though i was aware that there are Kilcranns in leitrim I have never been able to ascertain if they were related.<p>My grandfathers name was John Francis, and his dad ( my great grandfather too was John) John francis had two children a girl (my aunt) and my dad Seamus both of whom still live in Rooskey.<p>I am teacheing in Dublin and would love to hear a little of your knowledge to date, on your research, we alsao have a cousin named kilcrann living in the village of Rooskey !!!!<p>Drop me a line when you get a chance,<p><p>Micheal Kilcrann.
