Hello,<br>I am trying to find out more about my gt-grandparents, John DALY (1836) and Bridget LOUGHNA (1838). They married according to a posting on the IGI on 9th March 1868.<br>John DALY was a farmer in Keadue East, Kilronan parish and was still there according to the 1901 census; they had had 10 or 12 children.<br>DALY Children: <br>1.Patrick (1868) went to New York; no he wasn't a premmie baby!<br>2.Mary Kate (1870) married John McKENNA of Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim<br>3.Margaret (1871) married a SHEEHAN in US<br>4.Henry (1872-5) don't know ?<br>5.Teresa (1876) my grandmother,married George Joseph CORR in 1897<br>6. Don't know (1877 to 1879) ?<br>7.Charles (1880) married Susan CONNOLLY of Loughguil, Co. Antrim<br>8.Francis (1882) ?<br>9.Thomas Joseph(1884) married Elizabeth SUTTON of Wicklow<br>10.William (1885) ?<br>11.John jnr (1887) ?<br>12.Brigid Jane (1889) ?<p>Bridget Loughna had a sister (?) Teresa born 1868, 30 year age gap ? who married a Philip CORR in 1891 and settled in Knock<br>A John Loughna married a Bridget McMANUS in 1864 again in the Civil Reg of Boyle, but I don't know for sure whether he was related ?<p>Can anyone tell me more about the parents of John DALY (1836) and the Loughnas from around Kilronan parish ?<p>Many thanks for your patience and giving me your time in reading this<br>Go mbeire muid beo ar an am seo arís.
