Trying to find out more re.Great-great granfather's family<br>He was MYLES MCWEENY from Lochallan born 1846/48, married to CatherineWOODS from Drumkeerin (Clonamurgal), born 1848/49.<br>They were married in Drumkeerin Catholic Church( St. Brigid's?) on 2/5/1872.<br>They emigrated to Scotland in 1873 or so with their son John, born in Drumkeerin on 22/11/1872.<br>Their parents were Bryan Mcweeny/Catherine Flynn.and Patt Woods/Catherine Cregg respectively.<br>Myles Mcweeny had a brother John and a sister who stayed in Ireland when he emigrated.<br>After they came to Scotland (Edinburgh) they had another 7 children, including Catherine who was my grandmother.<br>Would be interested to learn about any descendants still in Ireland.
