Would appreciate any information. My Great Grand Father Thomas McDermott was born in Leitrim I believe. He came to Boston circa 1849, married Lowell, Mass 1857. Father was Patrick and mother Ann(second wife) Half brother Miles came to USA 1840-1845. Both settled Janesville, WI USA. Brother John settled in New Brunswick, he was a brick layer. Sister Theresa stayed in Boston.

McDermott(wife Ettie Steel)b. 1859 somewhere in Wisconsin.<br>There children; William H.(my grandfather), John M.(a WWI vet), Ira B. and Ray. Any slight connection appreciated

Any slight connection appreciated<br> <br>My G-Grand-father Thomas stayed in Wisconsin until 1873 and then moved to Newton Iowa. My Grand father Edward came back to Wisconsin. The rest stayed in Iowa. They were John, Jenny, Nellie, Thomas, Francis, all born in Janesville. Arthur the last was born in Iowa. I don't think there is a connection but thanks and will keep you in mind.<br>Ed
