I am still trying to find the parents' of Michael Quinlisk (my gggrandfather), but I have found NEW information on him to maybe help narrow my search...
Michael was born in 1834 Ireland and died 1919 St. Mary's Cemetery Lafayette, Indiana (I reported earlier he was born in 1843)
His wife Mary Quinlisk (maiden name unknown-could be Troy) was born in 1839 (believe in Ireland) and died in 1914 St. Mary's Cemetery Lafayette, Indiana.
The list below are their children and birth dates:
Michael Quinlisk born 1869 in Missouri
Mary Quinlisk born 1877 in Indiana
Katherine Quinlisk born 1883 in Missouri died 1927 St. Mary's Cemetery Lafayette, Indiana
Margaret A. Quinlisk born 1882 in Indiana died 1976 St. Mary's Cemetery Lafayette, Indiana
I have also through e-mail found out that Michael and Mary may have had a daughter by the name of Anne Quinlisk born 2 Nov. 1866 in Killyon, Offaly, Ireland.
If any of this sounds familiar would love to hear from you.
Thank you,
Edith Keller

Today, there a five of that name in the phonebook ...two near Nenagh and two in Cloughjordon, both Tipperary. There's one in Cork. That's all.
If she IS part of your family, her birth registration,
complete with date of birth, parents' names, mother's maiden
name, townland, etc can be found on page 596 of volume 18 of
the 1866 births. This entry will be on FHL microfilm
number 0101137 which can be ordered from Salt Lake at your
nearest LDS Family History Library Center.
Cheers,
Tom Voyles
