I am looking for information on my greatgrandfather, Richard Finn, who married Catherine Hurley. I think he was born in Waterford or possibly Cork and immigrated to Newfoundland, Canada in the late 1700s. He had seven children, one of was my grandfather, Edward Finn. They lived in Spaniard's Bay, Conception Bay North, Nfld. <br>I would appreciate any information available.<p>Mary G. Carter

Hi Mary,<p>I am a Finn from Spaniard's Bay, Newfoundland. I was born in Labrador City, Labrador but I was raised a considerable amount of time in Spaniard's Bay, Newfoundland. I don't know much about my family's history as I live on the other side of the country now and I don't keep in touch with my family, but I have recently become interested in my family's history and I'll let you know what I can find out.<p>My grandparents in Spaniard's Bay are Rita and Ron Finn (passed away 1974) and I beleive his father's name was Ron as well, I believe he had a few siblings, again I'll check into this and let you know.<p>-Ron M.
